Since the day it was founded, TB&C has developed into a sought-after and respected development and production partner for customer-specific hybrid components, busbars as well as mechatronic and kinematic metal injection-molded assemblies. Our hybrid components can be found across the globe in the automotive industry, the industrial sector, the field of medical technology and many more. 

Following the joint product development stage, high-performance outsert and insert technologies as well as processes such as overmolding and multi-component injection molding are being used during production.

History

History of the outsert center

1985

PHILIPS decides to implement Outsert technology in her production process, as the most efficient manufacturing method in high-wage countries, for tape drives and later also for CD and DVD drives

1994

An independent Outsert business unit is founded within PHILIPS

2004

The sale of the Outsert business unit to TB&C is initiated to realize focus on increasing revenues outside the PHILIPS Group

2008

Acquisition of first large platform orders for roof components for major European car manufacturers

2010

Foundation of the production plant in Puebla Mexico

2014

Foundation of TB&C Outsert Romania SRL with focus on assembly of sunroof mechanics

2015

Establishment of TB&C Technology GmbH as global Development Center for hybrid technology in new product platforms, responsible for development, sales and project management within TB&C

2016

Introduction of progressive die stamping in Mexico through the installation of a 630t punching press
 

2017

Plant expansion in Romania throug acquisition of a new production hall and start-up of injection moulding for roof mechanisms and wind deflectors

2018

Foundation of the business unit E-Mobility

2023

2023 TB&C joins Delta Group to strengthen the global electric vehicle market portfolio
